Braeside Golf Club

Established in 1947, Braeside Golf Club played at Beckenham Place Park in the London Borough of Lewisham. In 2016, due to Lewisham Labour Council closing that course (despite its popularity and source of income) Braeside moved to Selsdon Park Golf Course. The Selsdon Hotel and Golf Course complex was sold by De Vere in November 2021 which resulted in the closure of the course. We’d like to thank Caroline and her team for looking after us so well over the last five years, but we can also announce that Braeside Golf Club is now based at Farleigh Golf Club.

The club plays competitions throughout the year, including monthly medals, summer and winter knock-outs (singles and doubles) and a series of close to 20 competitions (14 by tee closure) between April and October each year.

In addition, our Men’s Club Championship (36 holes strokeplay, held over a weekend in September) and Captain’s Day are highlights of our playing and social calendar. Braeside is a member of the NAPGC (National Association of Public Golf Courses and Clubs) and actively participates in the Penfold League competition for clubs in South-East London and Kent.

So, whether you're seasoned competitive golfer, or a recreational golfer, male or female - we welcome all to Braeside Golf Club at Farleigh.
